When people ask how I can believe that the Eucharist is the Body and Blood or Jesus Christ, I always answer with a question:

Wanda: You have told me you believe the Bible is the sole source for salvation and everything in the Bible is directly from God. Is this correct?

Jerry: Yes.

Wanda: Do you believe that God created the heavens and the earth and all creation including humans?

Jerry: Yes

Wanda: Do you believe He was responsible for the great flood and saving Noah? What about all the plagues in Egypt?

Jerry: Yes.

Wanda: Do you believe He drowned the Egyptian chariots, split open the Red Sea, traveled as a cloud by day and pillar of fire by night?

Jerry: Well, yes I do!

Wanda: Do you believe He gave them manna from Heaven to eat and fought for them in the Promise Land?

Jerry: YES.

Wanda: If you also believe that He became man and died for our sins, was resurrected and ascended into Heaven, and that everything that lives is by His design and creation and carries a part of Him, then WHY is it so hard to believe that He can make Himself present in another type of Bread from Heaven to nourish our spiritual needs and be with us and give us divine power to spread His Word?

Jerry: Well, I never thought about it like that...

Wanda: Why try to put Him in a box; why try to limit what He can do? He came in person to tell us His true name, FATHER, and through His son, we were able to use all five senses to relate to Him. He continues to do that in the New Testament Covenant of the Eucharist.
