Your Inheritance as a Child of God

Ephesians was one of the most widely circulated of St. Paul’s writings because of its powerful, practical instructions for disciples of Christ. In fact, its six short chapters contain some  of the most discussed passages in the New Testament. Ephesians: Discover Your Inheritance examines many important themes that are still relevant in today’s Christian culture and society—the nature of marriage, the purpose and role of the Church, the preeminence of grace in God’s plan,  and the reality of spiritual warfare.

Presenter Jeff Cavins explores what Paul’s letter to the Ephesians tells us about the nature of the Church—as a body,   a household, a mystery, a communion, a bride, and an army. Ephesians: Discover Your Inheritance shows the treasures that await us as adopted sons and daughters in the family of God.

How Do I Live as a Christian in the Midst of a Pagan Culture?

If you page through Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians, you will see that he addresses many of the same topics that       appear in the news headlines today: scandals, promiscuity, debates and controversies, and issues related to prosperity versus poverty. Clearly, the struggles faced by the early Christians     are in many ways similar to our own. Paul’s messages to the Corinthians about divisions, immorality, persecution, and     other trials offer much-needed wisdom       for our own times.

First Corinthians: The Church and the Christian Community explores the key elements of the gospel message that Paul introduced to a new and growing Church. Presenter Tim     Gray examines Paul’s advice for living an authentic      Christian life in a pagan culture as well as his teachings        about the nature of grace, the Church as the body of

Christ,  and the most powerful gift of all—the Eucharist.

Unpack the Mysteries of Revelation

Perhaps no book of the Bible fascinates people more than Revelation. Yet relatively few people have studied it, especially from a Catholic perspective. Revelation: The Kingdom Yet to Come is an intriguing eleven-session study program that shows how the kingdom established by Christ in his Church is intimately connected with the kingdom of heaven. In this study, presenter Jeff Cavins pulls back the veil on the rich symbolism present in Revelation. Discover what the mysterious figures and images of Revelation mean and see how Revelation is more than an apocalyptic vision  of the “end times.” Explore the Church’s teaching on the second coming of Christ and the Last Judgment. Understand how God, the Divine Bridegroom, and the Church, His spotless bride, enter into a heavenly, holy, and mystical marriage every time we celebrate Mass.

The Story of How Christ Established His Kingdom

Matthew: The King and His Kingdom shows how Jesus             fulfills God’s promises to Israel and establishes his           kingdom on earth. Through references to the Old                Testament promises of God to his people and the              messages God sent them through the prophets,                          this Bible study provides the key to understanding                       the rest of the New Testament and Christ as the                        fulfillment of God’s plan.

Matthew portrays Jesus as the true King who fulfills                   the Law the people of Israel have failed to keep and who introduces the new law that will accompany the New Covenant. In this 24-part study of Matthew’s Gospel,               Jeff Cavins explains how Jesus is challenging and                empowering us to a new level of holiness and shows                 how we must be thoroughly immersed in the kingdom                          of heaven on earth, the Church, to live it.

“What Must We Do to Be Saved?”

The most important question a Christian can ask is “What must we do to be saved?” St. Paul’s letter to the Galatians provides the answer and reveals the merciful love God the Father has for his children. Galatians: Set Free to Live speaks of the extraordinary gift of salvation Jesus has won for us and explains how we can unite ourselves to Christ’s redeeming sacrifice through faith and love.

Presenter Jeff Cavins explains how Christ fulfilled the Law and set us free to live in the Spirit. Learn what “justification” means and how faith and works are an integral part of it. Discover how we become heirs to the promises and blessings of Christ through faith.

Practical Solutions for Sanctifying Everyday Circumstances

Looking for an anchor to hold you steady through the storms of life? Want the secret to finding joy in the midst of trials? Interested in learning to recognize the source of discord and the way to peace? James, one of the most practical books of    he Bible, is a collection of teachings on issues faced by  ordinary Christians in everyday life. In James: Pearls for    Wise Living, Jeff Cavins shows how the teachings of

James speak to those of us who feel torn between the competing demands of this world and our faith. Meant to

help a fledgling Church live out its faith in the face of persecution and a worldview opposed to the gospel, the             book of James will help you discover wisdom you can

apply to the present.
