A Little About Me and My Family.....
Rick & Jenetta and Daniel, Joseph, Clara, & Thomas Padilla

I thank God for being able to share the Catholic Faith while
being home with our little ones!  It is such a blessing.

I started as a Lighthouse Catholic Media Account Manager in October of '07.  In this role, I began sharing the Lighthouse program with parishes, serving parishes mostly in ND and SD.  I currently serve the role of a Region Manager in which I help other account managers as well as help spread Lighthouse and additional partners to more areas in the upper midwest.  I thoroughly enjoy serving the Church through Lighthouse Catholic Media and Augustine Institute which is firmly rooted in prayer and focused on sharing our Catholic Faith.

As to the loves in my life, my family, I married Rick in August of '02.  My name changed from Fischer to Padilla.  We now have four children Daniel Joseph, age eleven,  Joseph Michael, age nine, Clara Therese, six, and Thomas Joseph, three.  I truly love being able to be home with my little ones as well as being able to teach them at home.  Rick works with Roughrider Electric here in Dickinson.  Daniel and Joseph 'work' building catapults, forts, anything out of everything, as well as lots of science experiments.  They enjoy helping me cook, playing with their bunnies, lots of singing, including the books of the Bible and the 50 states, and being full of energy.  Clara 'works' at being "Big Sister" as well as a princess (with her brothers as the prince and the king), and she appreciates ladybugs as well as worms and, of course, our cats Gus and Snickers.  Thomas is now enjoying everything with his siblings, especially baseball.

Previously to life with my "little ones," I worked at summer camps and was involved in campus ministry and Collegians for Life until I graduated from University of Mary with majors in Elementary and Early Childhood Educ. and minors in Special Educ., Religious Educ., and Theology.  After college graduation, I worked at a group home with teenage girls for one year, was a youth and young adult minister for four years at the Cathedral in Bismarck, tutored a little of everything at a local high school, and then taught sophomores (Christology and social justice) and seniors (apologetics and vocations) at our Catholic high school for two years.  Another involvement was Camp ReCreation, a camp pairing teenagers with people with disabilities (www.camprecreationnd.com), where I was a counselor and then a director for 13 years, stepping back after the birth of Joseph in '07.  I have been involved in the Right to Life movement in many levels.

I enjoy serving parishes through Lighthouse Catholic Media and am one of the blessed ones who can say I love what I do.  Feel free to contact me with any questions, ideas, or for more CDs or books.  I'm here to be of help to you.

Know of my prayers for you and your parish.
