Journey of a Dynamic Disciple

The Journey of a Dynamic Disciple begins with Baptism and is a way of life-long-learning and seeking that defines the way we live. It is a journey of choosing between being righteous with God's eternal world view or accepting the temporal world view of man.

Matthew Kelly of Dynamic Catholic Institute, tells us  that "Transforming people one person at a time" is at the heart of God's plan for the world. It is also essential to developing dynamic marriages, loving families, thriving businesses and economies, and extraordinary schools and nations." He further states that "...sooner or later we realize that what the world has to offer is simply not enough to satisfy us." It is only then that most of us attempt to seek answers to four of life's biggest questions.

  • Who am I?

  • What am I here for?

  • What matters most?

  • What matters least?

When we begin to focus on the answers to these questions, the world becomes a better place and we  begin to see all things more often through God's eyes...these moments are what Matthew Kelly calls Holy Moments. These moments begin with our Baptism and sets us on a  journey toward being what God had always planned our lives to be...happy and filled with His love...but how? Where do we begin? Apologist Jeff Cavins states "...as Catholics we are taught a lot of stuff " (what he calls the Catholic Heap) "with our heads but not the relationship that comes from knowing and understanding the richness of our faith with the heart." (Read Exodus 33)

That is what we will explore with this website. It is a compilation of my own and others faith journeys.  It is our hope and dream that others will participate by contributing thoughts and ideas to share as we travel the Emmaus Road together. Our road map is posted under the tab marked MODEL and is based on:
